  • What kinds of symptoms do I help address with Nutritional Therapy?

    • Symptoms are your body’s way of telling you something is wrong. Once we find the root cause of the problem and balance the foundations, the symptoms will resolve on its own. The symptom can be digestive problems, chronic fatigue, blood sugar issues, insomnia, weight gain, inflammation, leaky gut and more. Usually we ignore some symptoms like constipation, bloating, insomnia until it truly affects our life. But these symptoms are the body’s way of communicating that something is out of balance in our body. By using nutritional therapy, I find the root cause of the problem rather than using a band-aid fix.

  • What is Nutritional Therapy and what does a NTP do?

    • Nutritional Therapy focuses on the idea that real health can be achieved through a holistic and bio-individual approach to nutrition and lifestyle. A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) take a foundational and holistic approach to wellness. As a NTP, we do not diagnose or treat any specific medical conditions. NTPs are trained to provide bio-individual recommendations and support for dietary and lifestyle changes based on initial paperwork and consultation.

  • What is Bio-individuality and why is that important?

    • Bio-individuality is where no one diet or lifestyle change works for everyone. "One size fits all" does not work in the wellness world. Low-carb diet, keto or intermittent fasting is not for everyone. In my practice, I go over all the initial paperwork and after the initial consultation, you will get a customized plan for achieving your goals. No two clients will receive the same recommendations.

  • What is Food and Mood journal?

    • Food and Mood Journal is one of the initial paperwork the client will have to fill prior to the first appointment. This provides an insight on the dietary habits of the client. This is an important tool that will help me to figure out what steps to take to help the client reach their goals. Properly prepared nutrient dense whole food diet is the first step  towards healing your body.

  • What is NAQ?

    • The Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire provides information on the symptoms and health concerns of the client. This questionnaire will help me prioritize the client's health concerns and work based on that.
